I like everything about this place. The people (staff), the bed, the space & how clean it was. The location is just great. After the first day and couple of times I lost my way in subway, I learned and understood the way Japanese subway works. Cool. The location is super close to the subway. Vending machines are everywhere. Stores and cafes are too. Any step you take you'll see either a cafe or a store. It's so convenient and cool. People say (and there's a song) Moscow never sleeps. Weeeeell. I guess Tokyo doesn't in comparison with Moscow. Also you can have any drink for free on the first floor (water, apple juice, some kinda energy drink and something else 😄). You can eat on the first floor, there are tables. You can "park" your umbrella next to the reception too. But mind marking it somehow if you don't wanna lose it 😆. At the beginning I was afraid the bed would be really hard. But after the first night I even liked it. Back problems are gone. The curtain closing the way in/out is very thick and not transparent as in a lot of other hostels I've been to. Bathrooms are great as well. I also liked how hard the guys worked to clean the place every single day. Like their own apartment. No, for real! I don't think a lot of workers around the world would be so honest and hardworking. I'm telling you. Amazing smell is everywhere. Bathrooms, reception, staircase. I want those refreshing thingies too.

I had a very nice trip to Tokyo, one of the reasons is because of Hotel Owl Tokyo Nippori. It's a quite small hotel but it has everything I need. The hotel is well-organized with clear rules : no light from 10pm, but lobby could be used until 1am, no hair dryer after 0:00 but if you need it, you could ask the staff... It's very suitable for one person trip. However, it is capsule hotel, so you should know that it is unavoidable , the sound from other customers next to you if they move or change position sometimes. If you are the person who requires completely quietness to sleep well, then you should consider this. I like the coffee machine and even the owl of the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful, if you need an iron, just ask the staff to use that at the lobby for free. I will recommend this hotel my friend next time.

Cheap, located 5-10 min walk from Nippori train station. Friendly staff that speaks English, and clean. It is a 1 star hotel so it was better than I expected! They also have possibility of cleaning your clothes. You can rent a more private room if you wish, and I also liked you could rent a strictly female dormitory! The other ladies there were nice and quiet. They have small lockers in the reception for valuables. There are some room in front of your bed for storage of your bags etc.

This capsule room is the most spacious capsule room I’ve stayed in over the last one month in Japan as a solo traveller. I’m still blown away by the space legit (I’m a tall 180cm muscular soldier and I can sit upright with plenty of space to spare). There are multiple shower rooms and toilets so no need to take turns. The hostel is a 5-minute walk away from a train station serving multiple lines. The staff even changed my bedsheet and made my bed for free on day 3 of my 5-day stay!

Pro's: Felt safe as a female solo Traveler, great location 2 to 3 minutes away from the train station a lot of small restaurants, shopping stores, convenience stores very clean, quiet and respectful overall staff was nice and try their best to communicate which i really appreciate it but do keep your translator handy and although the room is small it's nice and you're not there that often so it's a great price I would overall recommend this hotel to family and friends
